KAYEL tyres are international-standard retread tyres, exported across Asia and Australia, white labelled for some of the global-leading tyre manufacturers.
We have built a system that is so efficient that we can handle up to 15 different multi-specification casing and tread combinations.
The process is very tightly controlled, from entry to the factory through to finishing.
KAYEL brand retreads are UNECE-R109 certified, which makes us the first retread organization in South East Asia to obtain E-mark for our products.

Retread Technology
Tyre retreading was the original business activity of Kit Loong Commercial Tyre Group more than 85 years ago, and continues to be our core business to-date. We have consistently been a pioneer in the Malaysian retreading industry, reknown for constantly being the first to adopt the latest technologies for the various steps of the retreading process, characterizing the progressive spirit that drives our unwavering desire and commitment to deliver quality and value to our customers.
Our retreading facility in Shah Alam, Malaysia is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including 3 shearography machines, 4 fully automated buffing machines, 24 skiving stations, 18 repair stations, 2 hot feed cushion gum extruders, 5 curing chambers with complete cartridge system, and 7 quality checking stations including high pressure testing. We implemented stringent quality checks from initial inspection up to finished product, such as using the shearography machine for precise detection of internal ply weaknesses of casings; and high pressure test for pre-delivery checking.
Technically, applying the specific process correctly to the corresponding casing type is essential and critical to ensure quality of the finished product. Therefore we have implemented the RFID tracking and recording system to eliminate human error, and a very powerful retreading software for multi-brand high mix high volume production solutions.
Our KAYEL branded retreading offers come in a comprehensive range of patterns and sizes, catering to a wide range of commercial and industrial tyres, of both bias and radial ply casings. Hot cure and cold cure retreading processes are available, both of which are performed to exacting standards of quality. We use our in-house KAYEL rubber raw materials, with "Formula K-Plus" compound as a key ingredient of the formulation, for our retreading to ensure superior quality and performance of the finished products.
